CHECK MATE
Theatrical clothing line prepared and presented for the OLO-DRESSING brand in cooperation with Zuzana Kubíčková, Dana Bezděková and OLO. The collection was presented at Designblok10 at a fashion show also starring Sylva Lauerová as 'The White Queen'.
FASHION PERFORMANCE CHECKMATE
Collection CZECHMATE was presented during 12th season o Design days in Prague - Designblok. This is a collaboration of 3 authors – original jewelery by Dana Bezděková a scenic garment collection by Zuzany Kubíčkové for OLO-DRESSING. Choreography by OLO.
Dana bezděková came up with the idea of check collection. Following previous colaboration with OLO have both decided to continue to work together on this project. OLO approached fashion designer Zuzana Kubíčková, who fit perfectly into this project because of her work and approach. The idea was such a strong inspiration that in spring 2010 a collaboration on their collection CHECK MATE started.
Collection CHECK represented the latest creation of jeweller-makerDana Bezděková, who is focused on expressive rendition of jewelery made by recycled materials or components, which are unsual for jewelry makers. Gives them a new meaning and of course new artistic value.
Collection MATE is designed by designer Zuzana Kubíčkováfor OLO-DRESSING brand. It is clearly an artistic work and scenic rendition of certain chess figures in a clothing line. Garments by Zuzana Kubíčková have a sculptural character. They may seem as a exhibition objcts itself and absence of living human being does not diminish their expression or authenticity.
